Even though this information is viewable from within the MacAddict Tour interface, we've been getting tons of letters asking us "Who's the band?". Arild is 22 years old, lives in Norway, and has a daytime job as a web designer at Rostra in Oslo. Lives together with his girlfriend, Jeanette. The song is a fast and furious trance/psytrance number. Arild is a proud owner of a PowerBook G4 500/512 and a PowerMac 7300/200/96.
Highlands was created using a Powermac G4 with Protools and it's about the area where I recently moved with my family. The area is called "Issaquah Highlands" in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, close to Seattle. The track hopefully reflects some of the awe to the landscape and the hope of a bright future!
Funny Rave is a short little techno thang written, sequenced, recorded and mastered in about four hours for the staff video that appeared on the July 2001 MacAddict CD. It also appears in this month's staff video. "Sometimes when you have two days to finish the MacAddict CD, you tend to get things done a lot quicker. Songs can sometimes take days to complete."
